What we install

Fences for every yard in Lansdale & eastern Montgomery County

Tell us what the fence needs to do, whether that's privacy, keeping a dog in, meeting pool code or passing a front-yard rule. We'll match the material and style to it.

Local, not generic

Built for close neighbors and strict front-yard rules

Lansdale Fences is the local website of 76 Fence MontCo, an independently owned 76 Fence franchise. We install and repair fences in the North Penn and eastern Montgomery County ZIP codes, where most lots are suburban, neighbors are close and every township has its own fence code.

Those codes differ more than people expect. Lansdale Borough only allows open fences up to 3 ft in front yards. Upper Dublin caps front-yard fences at 4 ft and requires a gate on each street side. Cheltenham doesn’t allow solid fences in the required front yard at all. We check the rules for your address before we quote, so the fence you pick is one your township will approve.

Privacy on smaller lots

6 ft vinyl, cedar and horizontal board fences give twins and single homes in Lansdale, Glenside and Willow Grove a private backyard without looking like a stockade.

Front-yard friendly

Aluminum and picket styles meet the open, 3–4 ft front-yard limits common in Lansdale, Upper Dublin and Cheltenham, and still look finished.

Pool-code ready

We build pool barriers to Pennsylvania code: at least 4 ft tall, self-closing and self-latching gates, and gaps small enough for the inspector.

FAQ

Common questions

Do you offer free estimates?

Yes. We come out, measure, mark gates and grade changes, talk through materials and township rules, and send a written quote. There’s no charge and no dispatch fee.

Do I need a permit for a fence in Pennsylvania?

Usually a local one. Pennsylvania’s Uniform Construction Code generally exempts fences 6 ft tall and under from a state building permit, but most townships and boroughs still require a zoning permit and set their own height, setback and front-yard rules. We prepare and submit the application and follow it through approval. See PA fence permits.

Do you call PA One Call before digging?

Yes. Pennsylvania law requires an 811 request at least 3 and no more than 10 business days before excavation, and that includes fence post holes. Utilities mark their public lines, but private lines usually aren’t marked: invisible dog fences, sprinklers, lines to sheds, pools or lamp posts, and septic. Please show us where yours run.

How long does installation take?

Most residential fences take one to three days on site. The bigger variable is the permit: review times differ by township, and we’ll tell you what to expect for yours when we quote.

What warranty do you offer?

Every installation includes the 76 Fence Platinum Protection Plan, a 76-month workmanship warranty. Materials also carry manufacturer warranties, which vary by product. We’ll show you the written warranty for what you choose.

Are you a registered Pennsylvania contractor?

Yes. 76 Fence MontCo is registered with the Pennsylvania Attorney General under the Home Improvement Consumer Protection Act; registration T002924 (temporary). You can look up any contractor at hic.attorneygeneral.gov.
